Do you have a vision breakthrough?🤔

If the answer is no then congratulations you are on the right way already! Cause hopefully you are not overthinking anything.

When I started my freelance journey it was pretty much overwhelming for me, I used to overthink about the stuff which is not in my control. Overthinking everything and thinking about past mistakes, was becoming my habit slowly. But at the right time, I changed my mindset and I observed a huge change in my freelance journey! I am going to share the mistakes I have done in my journey so that you can prepare yourself for a smooth freelance journey.

“Never underestimate your power to change yourself”

- H. Jackson Brown Jr.

Before starting the journey you need to fix your mindset first! You have to find your “why”. What is the purpose of your life? why do you want to enter the journey of freelancing? What is the ultimate goal of yours?

“Attitudes are a secret power working 24 hours a day, for good or bad.”

You have to be crystal clear before starting anything. You have to remember that you can't achieve everything in a short period of time, through consistency and continuous efforts you will achieve it slowly. So, in the long run, the right mindset will help you to achieve the “why”. Slow but steady progress every single day is the only way to be successful in the freelance journey.

After achieving the proper mindset, it is time to stack up the skills you have or passionate about! This is the second most important part. Because you are going to leverage your skills to earn.

It can be anything, you can turn your passion into your skills. In this era of the internet, you can learn anything online. So choose your passion and start learning today.

So when you have chosen your skills to offer, now it is the time to go out and offer to people. How to do so?

is this rocket science? No, absolutely not. you have to put yourself in front of the people to get noticed.

I am not going to talk about gigs, I hate gigs, gigs economy is so competitive that it forces someone to do a job for little money.

The method is known as “CATT”.

“CATT” stands for,

  • Content
  • Attention
  • Trust
  • Transaction

I know you have a question in your mind about how to use “CATT”. Don't worry I will guide you through the whole journey.

“CATT” funnel is nothing but putting yourself in front of the world so loud that you do not have to worry about earning as a freelancer.

The first step of the funnel is content, which is the main part of the funnel, so basically you have to create useful content around your passion or skills consistently. You can choose any platform but more preferably you can leverage Linkedin and Instagram. My suggestion will be to start your own blog, you will have full control of your blog. And start making helpful content.

When you will start to make useful content consistently, slowly you will start getting the attention of your audience. Boom, you have more responsibilities now! You have to make content more precisely to help your audience.

Now when you are getting attention from your audience, you will start to gain their trust also. This is the most important step of the funnel. You have your audience trust, they have started to believe you.

The final step is transaction , as you are delivering useful and effective contents for free, you audience have started to trust you. It is the time to provide them your service. and believe me they will not think twice before exchanging their hard earned money for your services. Cause you have distributed so much value for free.

I know the journey is time consuming but believe me this is the most effective strategy to become successful as a freelancer. Dont depend on the gig website, just choose your domain and start using the “CATT” funnel continuously.
